The weather has been extremely hot and humid lately. It just has not been raining around Singapore and everyone's been complaining about the headache inducing heat.
Despite the heat I decided to continue supporting the wonderful soccer players at the Agape Cup! Wesley Methodist was up against Harvest Family Church today! As the match began, dark clouds drifted steadily at our direction and before you know it...
RAIN! GLORIOUS RAIN! Drenching the thirsty, dry and parched ground. I felt like facing the sky and opening my mouth to drink the sweet nectar from above.
Half the game was spent under heavy rain conditions, after which the 2nd half of the match was just perfect as the rain subsided.
Wesley Methodist lost 6-2 to the Harvesters but that's okay! I am sure that after a few games you guys will get much better as a team. I happens with any team sport actually, the more games you play together, the longer you guys are together, you guys will find it much easier to communicate with one another.
Soccer is fun, but I like rugby better. Stress relief? No problemo, play rugby.
