Lovely Scones

Just came back from afternoon tea with the fellow Sensibles.
We went to Fosters Cafe at Holland Village where we had scones. Break a scone, spread some sweet jam on the delicate surface together with an accompaniment of some fresh cream and butter. Pop the combination in your mouth and notice it disintegrate, releasing waves of pleasure to your taste buds.
Can you imagine, sipping tea and having lovely scones at a country side cafe and then staring out toward the lush green hills, a flock of sheep will be doing what they do best, grazing and relaxing on the soft bed of grass. You breathe in the cool air as it rushes past, that is the life.
But snap back into reality, this is Singapore and the closest you can get to a relaxing time of afternoon tea is at Fosters.
