Orientation Day

Today is June the 15th, marking the very first time I actually got involved in anything related to University. The presentations were interesting, they actually implemented many interesting ways to get us familiar with the various aspects of University life. Quite a few things were covered, from the usage of the Library to how a tutorial works.
Met many new faces during that time, they are really such wonderful people! I think it is people you meet in University who will play a big part in your overall experience during these pivotal years of your life. I met many people from various backgrounds, coming from Germany, Russia, Dubai, India, China and Fiji. I am certainly excited for what is to come!
It is really great to learn more about the various backgrounds they are from and to share with one another. Met a lovely lady from Moscow, when I asked what her aspiration was she replied with such gusto, "I wanna be the first female Russian President." Good on you mate!
Bought my course books today and oh my goodness there is so much to read...Time to start early, better now than later on...
