Semester Is Over!
written at Saturday, October 24, 2009
The semester is finally over, lectures are over, for now, till next year. But the celebrations can't start until our exams are over. I officially finish my exams on the 6th, that isn't far away but 1 week may seem like 1 year especially during the exam period.
The weather was gorgeous yesterday, and no the picture at the bottom is not a clear representation of what it was like, but you get my drift. Decided to roll around on the grass for about 30 minutes, while waiting for the weekly OCF meeting to start.
It was one of the most relaxing moments of the month, breathing in the fresh air, the sun is shining brightly on your face, you feel the warmth that it brings, you look up and you notice there are no clouds in sight, the sky is a deep blue. There are a multitude of daisies on the ground, you pluck a few and try to make a miniature bouquet of flowers.
I notice 2 fat birds nesting themselves on a branch, shooo cute...There is something about the smell of freshly cut grass which gives that amazingly therapeutic feeling. So I brought my mp3 player with me and played some tunes while busking and soaking in the sun. You need moments like these on the eve of exams. Strangely enough, I am not feeling very nervous or worried at all :/

What matters supremely, therefore, is not
in the last analysis, the fact that I know God,
but the larger fact which underlies it --
the fact that He knows me.
