How To Treat Her

"The woman came out of man's rib. Not from his foot to walk on. Not from his head to be superior. But from his side to be his companion... Under the arm to be protected, next to the heart to be loved."
Found this quote on my friend's blog. Thought it was a very relevant and fitting phrase to ponder over. It doesn't matter if she's a friend, a best friend, a close friend or a distant acquaintance, it doesn't give us any right to treat them any less or crappier than, well, how they should be treated. I pray that I will be a Christian man who will be dutiful servant, and subject to every one. Honouring the Lord even through this.

Knowing
What matters supremely, therefore, is not
in the last analysis, the fact that I know God,
but the larger fact which underlies it --
the fact that He knows me.
