Acoustic Recording Of "Mercy"
written at Saturday, January 30, 2010
Esther, Bobby, Paul and myself headed to Bobby's place to do a simple acoustic recording of Casting Crown's song "Mercy", a rendition of the original song written and sung by Parachute Band of New Zealand. The Casting Crowns version featured new lyrics and changes. Looking at them play around with the Garage Band programme is really cool because it seems so easy to use! Very intuitive, it didn't seem too complex. Hopefully when I ever get a Macbook Pro or a Macbook I will be able to use it for recording some vocal tracks! Can't play the guitar or keyboard too well yet but I shall keep learning and honing my skills while I'm in New Zealand.
The first cut of the song will be out soon so stay tuned! I love the tonal quality of Esther's voice, ACJC choir represent.

What matters supremely, therefore, is not
in the last analysis, the fact that I know God,
but the larger fact which underlies it --
the fact that He knows me.
