Meal Conversations With An Old Pastor

Parents had some friends over for a simple dinner, among them were an old couple (probably in their 70's), a ripe old age, the man is a pastor, both his wife and himself truly have such a passion for the Lord, I feel I have a lot to learn from them.
Dinner was great as usual, I think the conversations were very interesting! This old couple had so many stories to tell! I guess this is what happens when you have lived 70 years of your life and decades of ministry in different countries. The couple came from Rhodesia, in case you guys don't know, Rhodesia was the old name for present day Zimbabwe, just to add a little more general knowledge to your brain banks!
They had so many stories to tell, so many experiences to share, especially being from such places as South Africa, Zimbabwe and New Zealand.
Such is life, when you live to that age, seeing the world pass you by. Different experiences, happenings, events. He said something which greatly amused many of us, "If God can speak through a donkey, He can speak through any old ass."
Maybe I should seek mentors like him in my life.
