Auctions Are Exciting

Let me paint a very amusing scenario for you. Unlike Singapore, some houses will go through auctions. On the auction day itself the potential buyers and some passerbys will gather in front of the house, I'm sure all of you will know how an auction works. If you raise your hand the bid goes higher and higher.
So there was a father and son team standing by the side while the auction is took place, the son was the one considering the purchase while the father was just giving him the support. However things got interesting when the over-excited father kept raising his hand everytime a rival buyer raised his....
You are not bidding in the 100's or the 1000's, you are bidding in the 10,000's or the 100,000's. This is big money. So obviously, there was a fair bit of tension and pressures around. If two parties are looking the buy the house because they like the house, the competition can be fierce.
So the bid starts to soar over the million dollar range, the son get's nervous and tells the Dad to stop raising his hand because it's ultimately his decision to make. The dad brushed him aside and will give such a stubborn reply such as ,"Don't worry son I know what I am doing."
The rival bidder raises his hand and the bid once again soars to the 1.5 million mark, the Dad raised his hand with such fierce determination, casting all inhibitions aside and beating the rival bid by $200,000. Suddenly, you hear the son raising his voice at his father for his blind actions, "Dad! This is my MORTGAGE!"
HAHAHAHAHA...
Don't worry son. Parents do have the best intentions for their children, there's no mistake about that.

but the larger fact which underlies it --
the fact that He knows me.
