Of Tsunamis And Fishes
written at Thursday, October 1, 2009
Okay so while most people felt the tremors in Singapore, which is an incredibly rare occurrence, an earthquake also caused a tsunami which headed towards New Zealand as well. Good thing I'm living on the mainland, relatively distant from the shore and safely tucked away on the 2nd story the house.
A friend of mine took pictures of the aftermath. The tsunami killed several sheep, so sad.
Maybe not as bad as the boxing day Tsunami in 2004 but this was strong enough to uproot the trees and lay waste to the beach. Poor little kids can't go playing anymore! But maybe who knows, we can find some weird fishes washed up on the shore?
Talking about fishes and fishing, it's really amazing how the Lord opens new opportunities and avenues for you to share the gospel with the friends around you. Over the last week or so, there has just been so many new doors which have opened! This is an opportunity not to be missed! I have come across people who have been so curious and are searching for God. There is an ocean, what are we waiting for! Let's go fishing! :D

Knowing
What matters supremely, therefore, is not
in the last analysis, the fact that I know God,
but the larger fact which underlies it --
the fact that He knows me.
